Would you like to improve the shape, size, and position of your butt? Have you tried countless exercises to lift and tone your backside, without any improvement? Are those hip dips driving you nuts? Are you looking for a nonsurgical alternative to a BBL. If you answered yes, then a Sculptra or Radiesse injectable butt lift can offer an ideal solution. The injections give a subtle lift, volume increase, and cellulite reduction without committing for life.

Sculptra uses a formula containing the material called poly-L-lactic acid which is a synthetic material that is absorbed by your body. It’s the same material used in implantable medical devices like dissolvable stitches. It uses an inflammatory response in order to trigger the collagen production and thicken the skin. After being injected into the skin, Sculptra triggers your body’s immune system to create fibroblasts which surround the foreign body (filler). The process produces collagen in the area, resulting in skin firming and thickening.

Radiesse is an injectable filler that combines a gel with tiny calcium microspheres called calcium hydroxylapatite, which is structurally similar to what is found in your bones. Like Sculptra, Radiesse is a biostimulator that activates fibroblasts to stimulate collagen production. However, Radiesse is non-inflammatory. Instead the calcium particles become embedded in your skin and act as a scaffold that promotes the growth of new surrounding tissue.

What is the difference?

Both Radiesse and Sculptra are biostimulants, which means that they kickstart collagen production inside your body! However, they do differ from one another. The main difference between Sculptra and Radiesse is how long your results will take to develop and how long they last.

Radiesse has a filler component that gives an instant lift before collagen production appears.  The number of treatments vary per person but usually range from 2-4 treatments, scheduled 1-3 months apart to attain your desired results. Additional fullness will be visible in 2-3 months and the results will last up to 2 years.

The Sculptra Butt Lift does not have a filler component but produces more collagen over time. People usually will need anywhere from 2-5 sessions spaced 8 weeks apart. Results will develop over 3-6 months as the collagen increases and will last between 2-3 years.

If you want instant results then the Radiesse Butt Lift is the better option for you. However, if you want longer results and don’t mind waiting then Sculptra is for you!
