Viora vs. Coolsculpting

It’s 2022 and that means you have choices when it comes to non-invasive procedures for reducing fat, tightening skin and eliminating wrinkles. Two of the most requested noninvasive body contouring treatments are Viora and CoolSculpting. While both technologies are FDA-approved and avoid incisions, anaesthesia, and downtime, when it comes to Viora vs. CoolSculpting, there are several major differences between them.

 What is CoolSculpting?

Coolsculpting was created on the belief that cold can break down fat in the body. It is cleared by the FDA as a non-invasive method to eliminate fat in the abdomen, thighs and arms. It is not recommended for use on the neck or face.

CoolSculpting Fat Freezing Cons:

Fat loss from a Coolsculpting treatment takes 3 to 4 months. The reduction is a slow process, so you won’t notice a difference immediately. If you want to achieve a slimmer look for a vacation or event, you’ll need to schedule your treatment in advance. Some patients have even said the procedure is painful. Your stomach, thighs or other treated areas are essentially frozen, so you may need to take pain meds for a few days after the treatment. The machine works exclusively on fat cells, meaning it doesn’t have the capacity to tighten skin or reduce fat cells the way Viora V-Form does.

How is Viora V-Form different from CoolSculpting Fat Freezing?

Viora V-Form has been reported to be a painless treatment. It uses a combination of radiofrequency (RF) waves and vacuum therapy to reduce fat, tighten skin and eliminate cellulite. Your Viora V-Form practitioner applies glycerin oil and then uses a handpiece that emits RF waves combined with vacuum therapy to treat the target area. Each treatment lasts about 20 minutes and will need between 6-10 treatments for optimal results. Viora V-Form requires more visits to your practitioner than Coolsculpting, but each session is  painless and shorter than a Coolsculpting session.

 Viora V-Form Advantages over Coolsculpting:

• It treats the face, neck and body, including nasolabial folds, chin and “jowls”

• It tightens skin on the arms, back, abdomen and other areas while Coolsculpting doesn’t have that capability

• The treatments are quick and painless and each session lasts half as long as the shortest Coolsculpting session

• There is no downtime or need for pain medication after

• We can tailor the treatment to your needs by using one of four RF frequencies

• It treats all three skin layers – dermis, epidermis, and subcutaneous fat layer

• It revitalizes collagen, causing it to reproduce and give skin a tighter, more youthful look
